Historic R.P. Johnson & Sons Building
355 W Main Street
Wytheville, VA 24382
This massive property was once R.P. Johnson & Sons General Machine company, a blacksmith shop and wagon factory in the 1800s that became a showroom and repair facility for agricultural machinery in the 20th century. The property has been restored and was awarded the 2020 Best Adaptive Reuse Project by Virginia Main Street. The building is divided into three sections: the former repair shops, the former storage facility, and the former front offices and showroom. The Repair Shops are currently occupied by Seven Sisters Brewery but both the storage facility and the large front offices and showroom are currently unoccupied. All three units share a common courtyard with outdoor shelter space. For more information, please contact Downtown Wytheville.
